The manager upgrades our room to honeymoon suite. The suite is amazing with 2 floors. The breakfast is also tasty. The manager allows us to park our rental car the next day so we can visit Uxmal archaeology park and use the bathroom afterward.
The Lodge at Uxmal was amazing! Wonderful staff and beautiful rooms. When we arrived they helped us hire a local guide for the Uxmal ruins and Jorge was awesome! He made the day so special. Make sure to get Jorge as your guide you won't regret it! Luis our concierge was super attentive and helpful. Wonderful stay!
It's at walking distance from the Uxmal ruins: no car trip needed to get there. The breakfast is abundant and custom made.
No WiFi in the rooms and no working tv. The staff were very unprofessional and unfriendly; they did not understand customer experience and turned every request into a problem and made side comments.
It is the most convenient place right across from the ruins at Uxmal. The staff is very friendly and cares about you - they want you to enjoy your time with them. The lodge is old style Mexico with some modern amenities like air conditioning, small refrigerators in room, TVs and jacuzzi tubs. Thus, you get the charm of the old wooden doors, tile floors, wooden slat windows and great bird calls to awaken you, but you have a comfortable bed with air conditioning for hot nights. We very much enjoyed our one night there as a nice break from the busier, touristy hotels.
Arriving late at night after a long day on the road, we did not realize the beauty of the Lodge until the next morning. It is very well designed, exceptionally comfortable and a level way above the accommodations we found at Uxmal 32 years ago on our first visit. A uniformly helpful and responsive staff made our two- night stay exceptionally pleasant. At high season, the price is high but very much worth every peso.

We enjoyed our stay there so much. We were a family of 5 including 3 children. The kids enjoyed the hotel a lot, swimming in the pool and eating at the restaurant. The staff was very accommodating and polite. The room was very cool with the high roof. Overall a great stay, and very nice to walk across the street to our room after spending a whole afternoon sightseeing in the Uxmal ruins.
This hotel is the perfect base for exploring Uxmal. My only complaint is the high prices charged at the restaurant. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.
