Highland Rose Country House Spa

The rooms were cosy and warm. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were so friendly.

There was alittle delay in checking in. But we kept ourselves busy

The room was neat and clean. The brochures were helpful and informative. The heaters helped with the weather.

Upon our arrival the receptionist was uninformed and turned her back rudely. The "security" guard was rude but thoughtful with regards to the safety of our bike as there are apparently a lot of theft. They decide how you eat your eggs. They need to be more mindful. The beds are laid in.

The roads to get there was tricky in the dark, there was no lights in the garden, if the fairy lights were on, it would have looked very pretty. some soft piano music in the background will brake the uncomfortable silence in the dining area

No aircon in the room to regulate room temperature. It was cold.

The breakfast was amazing.

They used different fotos to the actual room. Which would have made the world difference if we had know the standard it would not have been so bad. We came in to a dirty toilet and moldy shower and a stained carpet. (Curtains are to long for the window, not a major issue, but does take away from the experience) Just use the actual photos and people can decide of they want to pay for what you offer, but mold is unacceptable.

Breakfast was good. But would really like to have a choice between scramble or fried eggs and also one morning bacon and next morning maybe pork sausage.
