St Lawrence hotel

The location was perfect.

The room was mediocre- ice machine in the hall broken. Bed was ok- not very comfortable. Pillows were hard. Window sill was broken. Hard to adjust heat in the room.

Small town, far from highway

The room was clean. Elevators always smelled like cigarette smoke but were functional and clean. Lobby and back entrance area were clean. Exterior was clean, no garbage. Room rate was good. Very quiet at night.

Front desk person was courteous and friendly. Room clean. Will continue to stay here.

Smoking room

Nice enough. Room had all the necessities, though they could be a bit more generous with the shampoo and conditioner. Fine for 1 person, maybe 2. Definitely not 3. Bathroom was a bit dilapidated and could use a refresh, but it was clean. On-site restaurant was surprisingly good. Would stay here again if in the area.

I always stay here. People are always nice.

The property was close to everything. Easy walking distance to restaurants an driving to the Lock. Michelle at the front desk was so helpful and pleasant. Amanda made sure we had what we needed in our room. The elderly man in the breakfast room was great. Breakfast was great each morning. The value for our stay was very good. Would stay there again. Loved having coffee an tea available all day.

The only draw back I had was the AC was turned off for the rooms. I was told when it gets cool outside they turn it off. 74 in the room is a bit warm for sleeping. Even with the window open. All in all we enjoyed our stay. I do hope they reconsider this practice in the future.
