I've stayed here 3 times in the last year and a half. Each time I have to remind myself of what I paid for the stay. The hotel could really be nice if they invested some money to spruce up the place. Dirty carpets, torn lampshades, constantly running toilet, and this trip one of the elevators wasn't working. I like the hotel, but they can and need to do better.

It was a great experience being right next to the casino but we did hear a gunshot from a drive by on the road💀 that was the only bad part of the place, the staff was nice and it made for a great trip.

I was first given room 501. Upon reaching floor 5 the hallway carpet was dingy and stained. Once inside room 501 the carped was incredibly stained throughout the entire room. Although everything else seemed clean, with the carpet as filthy as it was it gave the impression they just don't care. I booked a king room and 501 was 2 doubles. I went back to the check-in and spoke with the same lady that just checked me in. The process to get the correct room took 20 minutes. She asked my name 4 times during the process, twice after I showed her my ID which she copied upon first check in. She asked 3 times during these 20 minutes what room number she gave me. Eventually she said she gave me the wrong reservation. During the process I told her and the other check-in lady how bad the carpets were in the room and hallway and they should really get that replaced. She said that is in process. I told her it did not appear to be in process. I was given room 523, the carpet was just as bad in this room. They clearly don't care about first impressions. The view of the St Louis Arch was fantastic, so they do have that going for them.
