Beacon Inn 1087

Loved the charm and feel of a house. The staff was friendly and the option to rent a parking space was perfect. Our bathroom was down the hall but it was private and clean. I'd definitely stay here again!

Maybe an optional noise machine to drown out the street traffic/ trams?

Not much to like, except the smart TV and the mattress was comfortable.

Separate bathroom across the hall, room was a sauna with no thermostat or ability to close the vent. Tiny afterthought room. No place to plug in laptop at "desk". Got call before arrival asking when I'd arrive, and would it be before 8 pm, arrived 7:45 and nobody at the desk. Had to call to summon someone. NO MENTION OF PARKING CHARGE OF $36 ON THE BOOKING LISTING, NO MENTION OF SEPARATE BATHROOM ACROSS THE HALL. NOT WORTH THE MONEY SPENT.

The location is what wins here.

It was an older property. Decor was lacking at best. Dull and grey. Quiche, that needed editing in my opinion.
