It was a pleasant experience visiting gateway aurangabad . front desk, staff were very courteous and attentive. shwetank upasna. Ventktesh very well property is beautiful and food is scrumptious. Overall beautiful stay. Will surely come back.

If all the IHCL hotels I stayed so far, this is the best. Property was very maintained, rooms were spacious. The staff were the real highlight. Very caring and attentive.

"Nice hotel, overpriced food!"

Nice hotel, excellent breakfast, good location, clean bathroom and responsive staff

Food is good but extremely overpriced! The overall ambience in the evening is very dull, needs some lights to create a nice atmosphere - esp in Diwali times. The hotel has been partially renovated and we got allotted an older (non-renovated) room first which, frankly, did not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel even though it was supposed to be a 'premium' category room neither did it have a swing in the balcony - which was provided in the lower category rooms (?). We requested to be moved to a newly renovated room - which they did. It was better but still not up to par with similar 5-star category hotels in finishes and materials. The swimming pool doesn't have a kid's section. There's no kids play area / activities area. The only few things they provided were a foosball table, a chess board and a carrom board just in the lobby area of one of the wings. Minor point - the false ceiling lights in the room are a bit strangely placed and they all turn ON all at once with no option to control the light quality / brightness.
