We have stayed here many times and have always been very happy!

Very nice hotel. Steak restaurant was amazing n good prices. Wished I would have gone there first and more often. Beds comfortable. Spa treatment for tumeric wrap was amazing.

No creamer for coffee given but it did have fully stocked refrigerator with everything else. Fantastic soaps but you could not reach them if you took a bath.

The Presidential tower seems way nicer than the rest of the hotel. Spa seems nice, but didn't have time to book any of the services. The gym is well equiped - would suggest adding yoga mats to use outside in the courtyard. While there is a shopping center across the street, there isn't much else around in walking distance.

The main hotel area, where the bar is located, the furniture cushions are dirty and outdated. I was unable to connect to the tv's AirPlay or cast - it kept giving me an error message and it wasn't resolved even when I notified the front desk. The restaurant service was not up to parr. The food took a long time and the service at The Market was a challenge.

The hotel itself is nice with the normal amenities one would expect from an Intercontinental Hotel. Unfortunately my experience included a room that had a leak in the ceiling. We are not talking about a drip, drip leak--we are talking full blown waterfall. I had to deal with that 3 times with multiple towels and ZERO response from the hotel. At check out, they offered to compensate a meal, but that never happened and really wasn't the issue. they should have just come and fixed the problem when it was reported. In addition to that, while the cost of Costa Rica is generally high, the excessive costs of food and drink at this hotel were way higher than expected--but the quality was very good.
