Towneplace Suites By Marriott

Overall it was good. The room had a bit of smell but not over bearing. The pet area could use some attention but again I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Stayed after surgery, place was clean and well kept. I love Towneplace. We’re stayed at several and as always good service, clean rooms. And they have 2 bedroom suites! Only nice on that has them

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights during an recent trip to Lubbock. The rooms are all queen size beds, no king upgrades. The rooms are also quite small and have little room to move around. The TV is situated and affixed to a table so if you wish to watch from the bed; you cannot see a quarter of the screen because of a wall corner. The bathroom is very close to the bed, exact 3 steps from the bed to the toilet. Maybe OK if you are alone but pretty close if you are sharing the room. The fridge is a mini full size and there is a half stove and common kitchen utensils but the drywall seams in the ceiling are coming off and it looks shoddy in places. The bathroom sink faucet leaked around the base when turned on. We used the exercise room which was OK but had no wipes for the machines (dispenser was not working) ...so you will be touching the previous person's sweaty remains. Finally, my room was next to the staff supply room and I was woken up at all hours with staff banging around...came right through the wall. Overall, designed for a single individual on a budget who might be there for an extended stay. Room was booked through Expedia but I must admit; I will never stay there again.

Staff very friendly, room was good. Breakfast was also good.

Everything about the hotel room was just fine. The only thing I can say that is negative is the breakfast needs some major improvement. The eggs have no taste and there needs to be more variety of foods such if you serve pork there needs to be beef as a alternative.

This is my 3 stay in Lubbock in the past 3 months and so far this is the best hotel I have stayed in. Very clean, friendly staff, overall best in everything.

The 2 room suite was perfect for a family traveling w a toddler. We popped up his pack and play in the second room and never heard a peep. The customer service was awesome as they worked hard to get us in the room before official check in time. It's not the fanciest place but it was definitely a great place to stay for a quick trip. Breakfast the next morning had a good variety of food to keep us satisfied for the next leg of the road trip.

Check in was fast and simple, even at 2 am. Check out process was the same. The room was spotless, the bed comfy, and I even appreciated the kitchenette, even if I had no use for it.

The TV guide in the room was totally wrong. When I complained was given a new print out. This should have been given to me at check in. There was waste from previous occupant left in the bathroom waste basket.Just because it was Texas Tech graduation I was charged "special event" rate. Why? I was also told I could not use Marriott points.Why?
