Rosedon Hotel

Hotel was lovely and staff were attentive. Location was perfect for accessing downtown area.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Rosedon. We like that it is smaller, traditional and with wonderful dedicated staff. It doesn’t have all the facilities of a large chain hotel - but who wants all those anyway? What it has is atmosphere, tea on the veranda in the afternoon and a tradition of friendly service. It is a hotel where guests talk to each other rather than just passing through. Recent renovations and addition of a restaurant have enhanced the experience.

I stayed at the Rosedon on business as the Princess Hamilton was full. I would describe the Rosedon as a large boutique hotel. The Rosedon was more than adequate. The staff are helpful and well trained. The food is average. Everything else is above average.

Our 7th visit to the Rosedon. We were happy to see the updates on the front lawn, and the accommodating, friendly, seasoned staff. Unfortunately some of our favorite amenities have been discontinued. Breakfast is now very expensive, Beaus bar is no longer accessible without paying a lot for a drink along with gratuity, access to the microwave and snack pantry is gone as that is now part of the restaurant, the sitting /game area inside is now part of the restaurant, tea and sandwiches are no longer part of the tea. Usually a business will do a comprehensive SWOT analysis and continue offering its "strengths" when altering /upgrading its business plan. So many of the unique offerings (the strengths) were removed to accommodate the restaurant. It's puzzling.

Wonderful location and impeccable service. The pool and gardens were a particular delight.

It was a wonderful visit back to Bermuda and especially back at the Rosedon. My family and I were lucky enough to find the Rosedon over 20 years ago, as the charm is something that keeps us coming back. Forget the larger hotels, this established boutique hotel is unique and is what makes us happy every time we visit. You'll quickly feel the same way.

The service at Rosedon is spectacular. The Hamilton location is great. I highly recommend.

Been there 3 times. First 2 were xcellent with free breakfast and a nice high tea every day. Last year they renovated, put in a restaurant and you pay for breakfast now and the tea is just good, no sandwiches, whereas before it was a xcellent Booked their free taxi to the beach, but they failed to order it, with no apology. The general ambiance is not quite as friendly as it had been. The porters/maintenance people were very accommodating and friendly.
