Rosedon Hotel

We loved staying here. The room was wonderful and the food was excellent. The staff at Rosedon is truly the best!

This is a very pleasant hotel with a convenient location, Although it is in Hamilton, it has a "far from the madding crowd" atmosphere. The heated pool is in a very nice setting. The afternoon tea is a nice touch, and the Tuesday's free rum swizzle party was amazing. (They served a lot of delicious appetizers along with unlimited servings of run swizzle which we were not expecting.) They also have a free shuttle to Elbow Beach, and we recommend that you pay the $40 per person to use the facilities at the Elbow Beach Club and Resort. The charge is $75 if you purchase directly from the Beach Club. The hotel's staff are very friendly and helpful. When registering the administrator was unhappy that we did not book directly though the hotel. At first. this made us feel a little unwelcome, but the staff's hospitality alleviated these feelings over time. The hotel's restaurant "Huckleberries" served excellent food, but the menu was limited. My only gripe is that the hotel does not offer free coffee to the guests in the lobby. (They do have k-cup machines in each guest room.) Also, when you do buy a cup of coffee at the restaurant you are charged for each refill.

The people at Rosedon make you feel special and welcomed. They just completed a renovation so everything is fresh. The new restaurant, Huckleberries, is amazing! Some of the best meals I've ever had. You feel like family there and they are always there to help take care of whatever you need. Lovely greenery/plantings. Pool is relaxed. Just love it at Rosedon.

If you're looking for a small, quiet place this is it. Staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast, drinks and dessert were great..My husband and I never had dinner there. Great heated pool that was never crowded. They had a Tuesday rum swizzle party. The hotel is walking distance to bus, ferry, shops and restaurants.

Comfortable, clean and spacious room and bed; very quiet for sleeping, very helpful and courteous staff. Minor annoyance from ants and occasional balky TV and phone service.

This was our 3rd stay at the Rosedon over the years. Prior to our recent stay in July, 2017, we were there in June, 2014 and one other time about 10 yrs. ago. The Rosedon underwent a major renovation this year and we are happy to say that the Bermuda charm is still there. All of the updates were tastefully done and have only enhanced a beautiful lady. The new star at the hotel is their restaurant, The Huckleberry. The dining scene has changed somewhat in Bermuda and there were some disappointments. I am a total foodie and I am happy to report that dinner at the Huckleberry was killer. I had the halibut and my husband had the local rockfish. Both were impeccably prepared and melted in your mouth. I enjoyed their house white wine with dinner. It was a nice, light bright and interesting little wine. Perfect with the halibut. Dessert was also very good....a lemon tart with fresh berries and a chocolate marquis cake (which was the star). We also enjoyed scrumptious breakfasts on the porch & our patio during our stay. The rooms are nicely appointed and absolutely immaculate. Some of their housekeepers have been there for over 30 yrs. which says something. We know many of the staff and they are always so personable and helpful. You feel like you are visiting old friends. Also, a fun place to meet folks from all over the globe. Since the hotel is small and intimate, you can really enjoy conversations on the gorgeous front porch or pool side.

I wish I had discovered Bermuda and this beautiful hotel many years ago. The staff is so attentive and the Lodi g is relaxing and very professional

Wonderful hotel with a Charleston- like atmosphere and very nice especially for a romantic getaway. Good location in the city of Hamilton which has lots of great restaurants and easy access to fishing and ferries

We enjoyed our 25th anniversary vacation, staying at the beautiful Rosedon Hotel. The staff was exceptionally hospitable, friendly, and attentive, and even surprised us with a bottle of champagne in our room! We felt right at home at the Rosedon Hotel. I highly recommend Rosedon Hotel, especially to couples.
