Excellent location, only a few minutes from the train station. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Comfy bed in a very spacious bedroom. Lovely large bathroom.

At times there was only one lift working which was insufficient in a 20 story building. We were on the 10th floor and it took a long time to get downstairs for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious but some breakfast items were slow to be topped up when they ran out. There did appear to be a shortage of staff.

Very close to the train station and a 10 minute walk to the First Direct Arena.

I booked a superior king room with a sofa bed. I messaged the Park Plaza to ensure the sofa bed was made up. They replied that they would make the sofa bed up. We got into the room and it had not been made up. The room was dusty, the carpet was stained. I actually wrote CLEAN ME in the dust in the headboard of the bed. Luckily it was a huge bed so my niece did not mind sharing with me. There are cheaper and better hotels in Leeds THAT ARE CLEAN. I.e. PREMIER INN is much better.
