Sonder at McKinley

There was construction on a building across the street so it was pretty noisy while they were working but the hotel itself was great. We really appreciated the amenities and the rooftop pool was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

Roomy place, but looking run down. Patio door was broken. Bed sheets didn’t fit properly. No shelving in the shower for toiletries. No towels for the pool. Easy to walk to various places!

Got all the codes texted to me. Easy codes. The room key didn’t work some reason. Clean, comfortable room. Bedroom was separated from the living room and kitchen. Full kitchen was nice. Nice balcony. Very satisfied.

The location was great and it was nice to have an apartment feel. The space wasn’t quite as clean as I’d hoped (for instance the shower had the dispenser holders but no bottles and they were rusted and dirty, floors were still dusty) but overall it was a decent quick stay. I wasn’t able to use the amenities but the building overall looked nice!

Great location for getting around to lots of good restaurant options and many other cultural sites. The Sonder property was nice and had a cool vibe. We unfortunately could not sleep as it was really loud with the transit, construction, etc. The pool and shared spaces were wonderful. Little things like looking forward to the shared coffee maker were a disappointment, as it was not working the whole time. We did let the property know and they said, "O.K. thanks." with no repair. The workout room was also great but could not get on treadmills in morning hours because of the extreme sunlight and no shades to pull. Weird and frustrating, as that was another factor in choosing the property. Also, no good option for keeping luggage with a later flight, besides small cubbies. We would have had to pay upwards of $70 with the discount Sonder had with a local baggage storage company. Overall, a good space.

We booked this place for a little weekend girls trip and it wasn’t great. We wanted somewhere convenient and comfortable so we could walk places. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. The outside noise was horrible throughout the entire night. We got 4 towels for the entire weekend with no extras. If you were using the pullout couch there weren’t any extra blankets or pillows to use. The area around the apartment had some horrible smells and wasn’t entirely enjoyable. The apartment itself was clean and the pool area was nice! It was easily accessible if that’s all you’re looking for. Just wish I would have seen a review like this before booking!

We stayed for one night and the property was very clean and spacious. We were so impressed with the rooftop pool and hot tub. We walked to dinner which was very convenient as there were many options within a 10 min walk. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Loved the location. We are Boomers & a bit nervous about the set up, but The Sonder provided all information needed and even a video about parking on site. It was nice to have space and a full kitchen. Loved our balcony on the 13th floor. Great gym in the building. There were several restaurants within a few blocks. Fun young neighborhood.
