Bed was very uncomfortable, toilet did not properly flush, floor was sticky, air conditioner sounded like a dish washer, front desk person could have directed us better to our room which was in a different building.

Overall, it wasn't terrible for an ephemeral stay but I would recommend you to stay somewhere else to maximize the nicety of your vacation. If you do stay here, be prepared to ignore the oddities of a fairly old room. Bad * The door latch was broken, so only the bottom lock worked. It was a bit eerie, and if GB wasn't such a docile place: I'd be much less willing to fall asleep. * The back door to the balcony did not close correctly. * My door key did not work initially, and a couple down the hall a bit also had troubles with their door key not working. * Elevators are still broken down. * Interior is broken down. The more I looked, the more I found in disrepair. Good * The beds were clean, and well organized. * The bathroom was clean, well organized, and appropriately stocked. * The facilities all worked according to expectations. * The Inn is relatively close to downtown GB. * The creekside view is delivered as promised. * Staff were kind and helpful.

Location is GREAT, trolley stop right in front of hotel, pet friendly room that was nice and clean upon arrival. Easy check in/check out, friendly staff. Our family enjoyed staying here and is now where we will book again and again!!!!

The creek nearby and little swing in the "wooded" area. They let me check in 20 mins early. Maintenance and housekeeping were more friendly and helpful than the check-in hosts. Eggs were good.

Upon check in, it was fast and easy. He said here's your room key. I had to look to see that it was 112. I asked where 112 was. He pointed in the direction kf right. That was it. I was kinda tired from the drive and kinda shocked at the directions given to room. After getting settled, I realized I he didn't tell us if/where was any ice and what time breakfast was served, so had to make a stop on way out to ask. One employee said it ended at 9:30. The next day, while getting breakfast, a patron came in during breakfast, and asked when breakfast eneded, and that employee said 9 (so still not sure). The first morning at 8:10 am there were no eggs nor bacon (there was soke broken pieces), so we aksed. He said it was cooking and would be done about 6 mins. Got more eggs, but checked until breakfast ended, and no more meat ever came out (just say we're out instead of consistently saying it is cooking). Next day, it was just link sausage (but thankful for anything!) Went to take shower. I forgot my hair dryer. No hair dryer! I remembered my straightener thankfully. I asked for a hair dryer. He wrote down my room number needed one. I waited for 1.5hr. I said screw it, and then a maintenance worker I presume brought one. The vending machine wouldn't ever take bills, so went to lobby, since there was a water machine. Only hot worked. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival. Pubes and hair were all around toilet. You can tell it wasn't swept or mopped. I guess what I'm upset with most was that there were numerous other hotel options. Several of those were also creek side and were $30-40 cheaper, so assumed it was gonna be a better hotel. Nope. And it was ground floor not a balcony room by creek etc. Our room was on other side. The only lights in main room was the bed lamps. It was very dark.

Though location near convention center is great, our large group had an absurd amount of issues in many of the rooms: overflowing toilets, roaches, sewer backup into shower, another shower/tub completely clogged and not draining, no hot water in a room, key cards not working, door handle fell off, AC not working, etc. Staff got those in problem rooms moved into different ones, but there shouldn't have been issues in the first place. And even the new rooms had issues, with one having to be relocated a 2nd time in the middle of the night. Only the replacement rooms looked anything like the photos on the website. Rest were not nearly as nice. Also, this hotel is split into 2 locations with one requiring a 5 minute walk from the lobby down the strip and up an absurdly steep hill (because the elevator directly to it is broken, of course). When you can't get into your room because the door isn't working and they keep sending you back with new key cards that also don't work, that is very frustrating. They eventually sent someone with us because they believed the kids weren't doing something right...it turned out to be the door reader, not the kids.
