Grand Harbor Resort and Waterpark

Room fixtures were below average. The desk chair was very low grade (metal frame with a cloth seat, non-adjustable) and I was there for work in the area (not entertainment), so that mattered to me. Tony Roma's service was very poor as numerous employees completely ignored me while they walked by and/or clearly saw me standing at the host/hostess counter for what seemed like well over 10-15 minutes. Their customer service was simply bad--really bad. I wouldn't say my stay was a horrible experience, but it was definitely disappointing. Sorry, I'm just providing an honest assessment from my perspective.

I liked the service as well as the water park and all the things within walking distance.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, but everything was a little worn down, a little broken. Many of the machines in the arcade didn’t work. The elevator button did not light up. Lots of chipped paint. The management needs to invest in a refurbishment.

Ac was great Beds were comfy It didnt seem entirely clean We saw spider webs and dirty areas Carpet seemed clean but there were areas that just seemed like an obvious miss Waterpark area was nice for an average day or 2 stay Arcade not great half the games didnt work maybe total 25 games

Lovely spot for family stay.

Our NON smoking room smells very smoky. Huge water leak in the shower. Shower faucet drips. Sink handle has a leak. Bed hard as a rock.

Great location on the river and having the Mississippi River Museum and a nice wine bar within walking distance. Everything about the hotel and water park is getting dated and worn out. The on-site restaurant has average food at best. Regardless, the kids don't notice these things and enjoyed the trip.

Staff wasn’t prepared for large crowds at breakfast

We liked the access to the downtown and the outside was attractive. Unfortunately, the walls were paper thin and it was noisy all night. We had to address our neighbors at 3:30 am because of the loud talking, playing and tv. There were at least four kids that I saw in the room, and two "adults" who didn't have any concept of hotel etiquette. The surfaces in the room were clean, but not the look (yellowing, peeling wallpaper, and mold in the washroom; with a drippy sink and shower). We stayed here two years ago and liked it, but we both felt that it had gone significantly downhill from our previous stay. Sadly (because we like the location), we will not be back.
