Grand Harbor Resort and Waterpark

When we were staying the fire alarms kept going off due to their laser tag game smoking it was horrible for a few hours

We had our 11 year old grandson with us. We were hoping to use the water park but it seemed like ot was for little kids. We did not use it. I was very happy at check-in that we could get a room overlooking the Mississippi River. I had not requested that on my reservation. All in all we were very happy with our stay. We liked being on the river walk and within walking distance of the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium. There is so much to see. We were able to use our admission for 2 days so we could split up our time there.

All in all it was a good stay. They where really busy and full.

The bed was really comfy. They accommodated me with the request that I wanted up on the top floor. Great check in. Unfortunately there’s no way to skip around the fact that for an hour and 20 minutes the fire alarm went off at least 11 to 12 times. After walking down the stairs over three times with rheumatoid arthritis I was in quite a bit of pain and just quit going down. The firetrucks didn’t even show up until many many had gone off. The fire alarm was deafening and at a very high decimal so kind of ruined the evening otherwise the visit would’ve been excellent.

Wish the water park was open earlier than 11 like maybe 9

I loved pulling into the grand motel and feeling very excited for our stay. The staff was warm and inviting, very knowledgable front desk staff. The waterpark was also fantastic! What I didnt like, cleaning staff cursed in front of my children and a housekeeper on the 3rd floor wreaked of marajuana, my hallway smelled like vomit, half the arcade games were out of order, limited, stale and tasteless breakfast options. There were also huge swarms of Mayflies all over the riverwalk, which is great for the ecosystem, however recommending bug soray should be added to suggestions for stay.
