"Good price, bearable conditions"

6.0

Kind and helpful staff, free wifi and a reasonable price - these are the some of the nice things about this establishment. Room was small and bathroom was even smaller. Old and stained carpet but good bed.

"Budget Hotel . Clean and functional"

6.0

This is a real budget hotel. I paid £40 for the one night. The rooms are basic, with shower/WC, and TV. The TV has no Satellite. The channels are all in German. The beds are comfy, but the pillows quite pathetic. They offer no support. Ask for at least 2. I didn't have the breakfast (£8) as there is a coffee shop/bakery opposite. It is close to transport and adequate, but not for more than a couple of days.

"A central comfortable hotel offering an exceptionally good breakfast."

8.0

This hotel is quite central and transport facilities to the centre of Frankfurt are most convenient with an sbahn station across the road from the hotel. The staff is most helpful and they all speak very good English. The rooms are relatively comfortable and all served by lift. Our double room however, was rather small and since the weather was hot we missed an AC or at least a fan for the very hot nights. Breakfast offers a wide choice of food which will satisfy all tastes. The standard of cleanliness is excellent. Although parking facilities were available at the hotel, it was no problem finding a parking place outside.

"Niederraederhof - basic but comfortable hotel"

8.0

Nederraederhof is a basic but comfortable hotel, ideal for a short stay on business, especialy if you are paying yourself or have to wait for expenses. There is tram and bus connections close by to the city centre and Hbf and in the other direction the Niederrad business area.

"Nice"

8.0

Stayed here recently for a night. Was a last minute booking on our travel from Prague to Amsterdam. We had a balcony that looked over the town and was lovely looking out at night and early morning. Comfy and clean room.

"Well worth the money!"

8.0

For £30 a night for a double ensuite room this hotel certainly meets the mark. Many hostels set you back more than that! The room was attractive, clean and the view was ok. The bathroom was amazing with a decent pressure on the shower and a hairdryer. Beds were comfortable and there is free water and a minibar (prices arn't terrible- €1.80 for 0.25l coke. There is no AC which is annoying and the windows don't open too much meaning the nights can get a bit stuffy if weather is hot. Staff were nice and the WiFi worked ok for browsing etc. TV was in German only and alot of the channels did not work but can't complain too much as it is a German hotel. Area is not attractive but has cheap shops (penny market etc for food) and apparently decent restaurants and bars ( although we never went) overall the stay here was very good and and economical.

"Good Value for Money "

8.0

Pros: This hotel is really good if you are staying in Frankfurt on a budget - the room was great, really comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was also nice (came with a hairdryer too which was a good bonus). The bed was also really comfy and I had a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful - when asked they recommended nice restaurants and bars etc which was good. Cons: The area is okay - it is very easy to get to the centre on the tram (takes 6 mins to get to Frankfurt main train station), however it's not the most attractive area of Frankfurt - nothing appealing to look at, full of run down apartments etc. That being said, there were some good supermarkets in the surrounding area. Secondly, although there was a TV, all of the free channels were in German (& we couldn't work out how to put the subtitles on) which was a bit of an inconvenience - at other hotels I've stayed at, channels like BBC news were free. Overall though a good hotel if you are on a budget - would recommend.

"Worst business stay ever"

2.0

Upon arrival, I was told that there was a problem with the room - some vague excuse was given as to why some of the rooms were unavailable. Given they had all my contact details and failed to notify me of this was disappointing, being relegated to what the receptionist described as the 'cellar' was almost comical. Turns out there was a room in the basement with separate bathroom facilities down the corridor. This setup you may expect from a hostel charging 20 Euros, but not from a 3 star hotel - even as a back up room. The bed was tiny and mattress felt cheap, every footstep and conversation from above was amplified given its 'sub-optimal' location beneath the reception. The only thing I found satisfactory in the room - was the bottled mineral water with gas, which was seemingly un tampered and contained the appropriate balance of carbon. To top off a dreadful stay - the receptionist said someone would be in contact about a refund. Alas - I've heard nothing.
