La Medusa Hotel - Dimora di Charme

I was had signed up for a wine tour of Italy and wanted to get in-country a few days before. I found this property on the Hilton app. I’ve stayed at SLH-branded hotels before and jumped at the opportunity to stay here - I was not disappointed. The concierge (Angela) was brilliant, the views were magnificent, the food at the restaurant was sublime. I would like to go back.

Très bel hôtel dans un magnifique écrin de verdure. Grande piscine avec de nombreux transats très confortables. Mention spéciale pour la jeune femme à l'accueil du petit déjeuner. Souriante et attentionnée. Soirées avec musiciens. L'hôtel à été repeint récemment. Conclusion : très agréable

Salle de bain indigne d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Bac de douche minuscule et très dégradé. Nous avons indiqué que le gel douche était vide. Résultat, 48 heures pour avoir du gel douche, et cela après relance. La ville Castellammare di Stabia n'est pas touristique, voir inquiétante avec endroits peu rassurants.

L’hôtel se situe dans une zone verdoyante, à 15/20 minutes des centres d intérêt. Comptez 100 à 120 euros AR pour vous rendre à Pompéi. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et de qualité et très belle vue. Nous avons dîné dans le jardin, c était tres agréable.

Nous avions réservé une chambre de luxe avec balcon plus de deux mois avant notre arrivée ; la chambre d’une belle superficie se trouvait au dessus de l entrée principale de l’hôtel, vue montagnes Heureusement, nous avons pu changer pour une chambre plus petite avec soleil couchant sur la baie de Naples et le Vésuve ! Pourquoi ne pas nous avoir attribué cette chambre en arrivant ? Beaucoup de bruit tôt le matin 8 h par le personnel pour le remise en place . Le service snack de la piscine est lent et confus .

An amazing stay at La Medusa Hotel – Dimora di Charme. The garden is truly stunning, full of colours, scents, and peaceful shade — a perfect place to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us with transfers and even arranged a guided tour to Pompeii. The food was delicious from start to finish, especially the pasta with zucchini. Our room was comfortable and well kept. The hotel’s history as a former Bourbon palace adds a special charm to the whole experience. Highly recommended.

The property itself is great, but be aware that you will definitely need a car or use transfer because of the surrounding area.

We first visited La Medusa in 2018, and this was our first opportunity to return, which we've always wanted to do. There's plenty of stuff in other reviews about the high quality of everything at the hotel - we would agree with all of that. The prime reason for this contribution is to acknowledge the hotel's staff. From reception to bar to restaurant to cleaning staff, everyone was unfailingly welcoming, polite, helpful and utterly professional. Special thanks to the following, who made our stay both relaxing and memorable: In the restaurant; Gennaro, Antonio and Maria-Luisa. In reception; Angela and her colleagues, whose names we didn't catch. And hotel driver Antonio. Thanks everyone; we appreciated your kindness and, as we've already said, professionalism.

Absolutely amazing place

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful hotel. The staff was exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive. The level of service was outstanding, with genuine personal care that made our stay feel very special. The meals were absolutely incredible - fresh, delicious, beautifully presented, and of the highest quality. We ate dinner at the restaurant with top service and gorme food! I was especially touched by the beautiful birthday surprise: flowers and warm birthday wishes that made the celebration unforgettable. It was such a thoughtful and personal gesture that meant a lot to me. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back again.
