La Medusa Hotel - Dimora di Charme

Cet hôtel a beaucoup de charme, ainsi que le jardin. Nous avions une chambre avec une vue imprenable sur le Vésuve. Le personnel était aux petits soins, très à l’écoute et très serviable.

Il n’y a rien que nous n’avons pas aimé.

I enjoyed a wonderful holiday at this hotel with a beautiful garden. You can also enjoy a generous breakfast buffet with a view of Vesuvius and delicious evening meals. The rooms are very clean, and the staff is very friendly.

An exceptional hotel in all aspects! Management and Staff very friendly and extremely professional. Rooms, restaurant and gardens magnificent.

The view of the sea and Vesuvius was beautiful. The weather was perfect and the staff very friendly. I fell ona step and they took me to see a doctor. I missed my tour of Pompeii, but the hotel was lovely and quiet.

Excellent well managed, clean, comfortable and very friendly hotel. Excellent food in the restaurant which is good because there is nowhere else close by to eat. Beautiful views over the coast and Vesuvius. Would definitely stay here again. Well positioned for Pompeii, Herculaneum, and the Amalfi coast although best to hire a car for easy access to these places.

This hotel is beautiful and luxurious, however what made the stay so enjoyable is the quality of the staff. They were all very helpful and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. Great base for exploring Pompeii, Naples city and also Sorrento/Amalfi but you also have the peace of being outside the busy centre of Naples. 9.5/10.

The taxi ride to the hotel from the Naples airport can be from $135-$185 one way. Many attractions in Naples are in the vacinity of the airport, so you can pay up to $370/day on just transportation. We had a bad experience at the Restaurant. I ordered pasta and Lobster. My lobster was rubbery and tough to cut with a knife. I requested another lobster, but not over cooked. When my plate returned, the 1st lobster and pasta had simply been cut up, like you would cut up a child's plate. I said to the waiter, I wanted another lobster, not my lobster cut up. He told me that all the lobsters were tough because of how they initially prepared them. He asked if I wanted something else and suggested the pasta and shrimp. When the new order arrived, it was actually the same lobster I had initially ordered,but now it was cut in even smaller pieces. I left without eating anything. The next day, I told the waiter (who is in a management position) at the breakfast buffet, that I am from Texas on the Gulf coast and eat shrimp all the time and a Chef would never cut shrimp up on pasta in little biddy pieces. I told him I knew that I had been served the same plate of food three times last night. I wanted him to know that I knew that, then I said, but you knew i too didn't you? He didn't reply.

Outstanding!!!! Everyone was soo nice the property was gorgeous the food for breakfast and dinner amazing! We didn’t want to leave! Def will come back!!!
