Super 8 by Wyndham Union

Rooms had a high humidity level and smelled like mold and mildew.

The breakfast was good but would have been better if it had included eggs.

No complaints.

The Super 8 by Wyndham in Union, MO was as expected. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a speed skating event in the area. We selected this hotel because of a great deal they offered for reserving >30 days. Overall, the hotel itself was fine for what we paid for it. The room was big enough for 2 of us; the only problem was the musty smell of the room. It was remedied with a little Febreze and fresh air by opening the windows. The beds were comfortable enough, but the comforters could use a change. Several stains and burn holes. I fixed this by simply buying a flat sheet to put over the comforter and sleeping on top with a blanket. I can’t fault or dock stars for the hotel being what it is. The bathroom was fine, and housekeeping supplied fresh towels each day. Overall, I’d recommend for anyone staying in Union.

The property was clean and well kept. I had a couple small issues. 1: When I turned off one of the lights, it started flashing and I was concerned about the fire risk. 2: There was a dirty towel left hanging behind the bathroom door. Over all, it was one of the best Super 8's I ever stayed.

Hotel texted me at 10:42 at night about a request i had made hours and hours earlier. I was asleep by 9 so they woke me up. Then they texted me about the same issue at 8:06 am, 2 hours before my alam went off, and woke me up AGAIN. When i brought this to their attention they literally ignored me and did not respond. No apology, no offer for a discounted stay, nothing. Not even a "We'll take that under consideration next time."

The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great. Service n house keeping does amazing job. The rooms were cozy n clean. They had good breakfast options n as well they kept the breakfast room clean through the morning.
