"Perfect family getaway made by the perfect staff"

10.0

Perfect family staycation! Stayed for 2 nights with our two year old and would certainly recommend. Our daughter loved the pony grooming and she was so happy that we could visit the stables every day to see the horses and ponies. She also loved swimming at Sharkies and visiting the kids club. The food was all very good, especially the pizza and afternoon tea. Without a doubt the best part of the hotel though was the staff, they treated our daughter amazingly and every member of staff went out of their way to make our life as easy as possible. That is the main reason that we would happily come back

"Disappointing from start to finish"

4.0

Does not live up to the usual Four Seasons standard. Much better alternatives available. Wild Carrot restaurant is particularly bad. Cold scrambled eggs at breakfast. Even a simple ploughman’s not executed correctly. Simple pot of tea arrived weak - only one tea bag used!! Expensive break and left feeling flat

"Not worth it, many better options available.."

4.0

So we have stayed here previously and had a completely different experience. But this was like an expensive Center parks, if you want to be surrounded by more kids than a nursery contains then this is the place for you. I do have kids 3 of them, but this was like staying in and dining in a nursery. Kids on iPads at every table or screaming, kids riding scooters in restaurants, I mean refined and relaxing this is not available here. The dogs staying here were better behaved than most of the kids. Drinks in the bar were sere served without the nibbles that normally accompany them we had to ask for them. The Eton Mess is not an Eton Mess, the kid’s knickerbocker glory was not one either, the fries were cold and chewy. The ac was lacklustre, there is no hand held shower in the shower, also the very bare minimum of toiletries are provided. This is way far from Four Seasons standards, and we have stayed at many. At £1700 a night you are better off at Coworth Park . We had to work hard to get a table for dinner, if you know the hotel is so full maybe advise your guests in advance to make reservations.

"Wonderful few days away."

10.0

This is one of our many stays at this property. We were told by a General Manger from another Four Seasons property that we might be able to get an upgrade due to some issues at another hotel. Well, this team did not disappoint. We were upgraded to a Manor Room in the main hotel. Also, to our surprise, we were gifted a bottle of English sparkling wine. Very much appreciated. Pool and spa facilities were lovely and due to good weather, we even went for a bike ride. Will definitely be back.

"Spa day"

6.0

The spa itself is quite pleasant and relaxing, but it felt a bit shabby in places and could definitely use some maintenance. The outdoor hot tub was a particular disappointment – it was only lukewarm and not especially enjoyable, which was a shame because that’s usually a highlight of a spa day. Lunch at Café Santé was unfortunately a letdown. The starters were very unappetising with poor taste/texture (vietnamese rolls and chicken salad) , which set an odd tone for the meal. The mains were better but still fairly average. Overall the food felt like a strange fit for what should be a relaxing spa day. All in all, we had a nice day, but there were enough issues that it didn’t feel like a 5-star experience.
