SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Diego Carlsbad

Ilana was born to care for others , she anticipates guests’ needs and delivers exceptional service. Friendly staff, great rooms, and a perfect location. If we ever return to Carlsbad, this will definitely be our place to stay.

Hotel and room were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast quality was very good & stayed open until 10.00 am. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Rooftop terrace has great views & good food. A lot of restaurants were within walking distance. Carlsbad State Beach is across the street & hotel provides beach towels and chairs.

Very comfortable. Great location. Worked out well for our stay with 2 babies. Bedding is good, room spacious enough to accommodate family

Love the location. Walkable to restaurants and the beach. Breakfast was better than standard hotel breakfast. Rooftop restaurant adds an easy dinner option. Staff is tremendously helpful and cheerful. Checkout was easy and all my questions were answered by Jose, Sarah and Ilana.

Everything was wonderful. Will continue to keep on coming back.

I would’ve given it 5 stars but our last day was awful. I extended an extra day for our stay but I had to fly out to attend business. The receptionist promised me all my 80 year old mother need to do

We stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Carlsbad from 10 to 13 September 2025 and had a most wonderful stay! The Hotel was very clean, neat and well organized with a great security system in place that never encroached on normal activities. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and exhibited a very caring and concerning attitude towards its patrons. The beautiful Carlsbad beach was only a very short walk away with a great walking path (take the upper one to catch a great ocean breeze) and hotel provides beach chairs and towels if you would like to spend the day soaking up the sun. Mornings on the outside patio at SpringHill suites is a great place to start the day with family and friends with a very nice variety of breakfast items. There is a roof top restaurant and bar associated with the hotel that is a great place to “Wine Down the Day” enjoy the evening sunsets over the Pacific. The town of Carlsbad shopping district is an equally close walk with a variety of excellent eating establishments and small and diverse shops that can make browsing for the perfect take home gift fun. Rent an electric bike to tour the town or hop the inexpensive local train for a fun and relaxing tour of the California Coastline. We really enjoyed our stay at the Carlsbad SpringHill Suites and highly recommend staying there when visiting the area.

Really enjoyed my stay. Great location right across the street from the beach and close to many restaurants.Very cool rooftop bar with great views and a good vibe. Very good breakfast with a staff that was very attentive.

Wonderful stay. Such a shame we were only staying one night, it was a really comfortable bed and room had a view of the sunset. It was our wedding anniversary and the staff were so kind and made our stay even more amazing. Thanks again to the Lauras and Ilara, as well as all of the staff. Rooms and all areas super clean as well as all necessary amenities. Breakfast had a good range of options and had the best decaff I’ve had since being on vacation. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Carlsbad!
