SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Diego Carlsbad

We had a good experience staying here. The only thing was the bathroom has a sliding door that is frosted. You can't see into the bathroom but the light is super bright so whenever someone got up to go to bathroom during the night it lit up the whole room.

Clean, and quiet hotel, walkable to the Carlsbad village and beach.

We always have a good stay at Springhill Suites, awesome customer service and always next level clean. The roof top is one of the best features at the hotel. We will continue to book our stays there when we are in Carlsbad.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary, and Sarah and Kurt made it so special! We arrived and went to our room to find the most incredibly beautiful heart shape on the bed made of bougainvillea petals. The outline was lit perfectly with the bedside reading lights, and in the center were adorable red non-– fire candles, Prosecco, perfect plastic elegant cups to enjoy the Prosecco, lovely little snacks, and the sweetest card. We just couldn’t believe it! We might as well have been at a Ritz-Carlton. Sarah and Kurt and the whole staff were attentive during our whole stay. We are looking forward to the next time!

I needed a quick getaway from the Palm Springs heat and booked a last-minute stay at SpringHill Suites in Carlsbad. Kurt checked me in and was super friendly, gave me a rundown of the property, with Daniel there to assist since he was fairly new. Although the room was nice and clean, the view wasn't the greatest, so I stopped by the front to see about possibly getting a better view since it was a weekday and I was only staying two nights. Daniel was able to get me a front, ocean-facing room, which was a very nice surprise. The view was great, I really enjoyed waking up to the sight of the ocean. The room itself was spacious and felt recently renovated. The bed was comfortable, and while the pillows weren't quite my style, that's just a personal thing. Free breakfast was offered in the morning, it was simple, but I enjoyed it. I also want to mention Sarah at the front desk who kindly helped me with a new key when I forgot mine. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Great little escape, and I'll definitely be back.

I’m an Ambassador Elite member who stays at different Marriotts almost every week. For a short beach getaway with the family, we chose this property because of its location, but were very pleasantly surprised with the condition and amenities of this property. It is perfectly maintained, extremely clean and has unexpected amenities such as a rooftop bar, very deluxe breakfast and free of charge towels and chairs for the beach. Last but not least, the staff is amazing. I want to give a special shout out to Ilana, Daniel, and Sarah, for being so kind and accommodating.
