SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Diego Carlsbad

I really enjoyed this hotel and it's in an amazing location. We did a one night staycation here so that we could be in a spot that's walkable to a great beach right across the street. It's also walkable to the Carlsbad Village. There is so many restaurants and things to do in this area. Our room was spacious and had two queen beds with the living room area, microwave, mini refrigerator, and everything seemed upgraded or renovated. We were on the first floor close to the gym and the lobby, which was convenient. We slept really well. The only downside to the room is there is a sliding bathroom door that doesn't seem to close all the way so if you're using the toilet and someone walks by, they could see everything. The breakfast in the lobby was your usual hotel breakfast, but I appreciated the offerings, such as waffles, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, etc. Tower 39 is a must stop if you are staying here because it has amazing views of the ocean and it's a fun hangout spot with food and all kinds of drinks around fire pits. If you do stay here with a car, parking is $20 a night.

We had the most wonderful experience at the Springhill Suites in Carlsbad. The location is less than 2 blocks from the Carlsbad Beach access and close to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and had many options. Don’t miss going to the rooftop to enjoy your breakfast with ocean views. The staff were all kind and engaging - saying hello as we walked the halls and asking if we needed anything. We will certainly return the next time we stay.

Great location by the beach.

It is beachfront, 3 min walk to beach. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops etc. perfect for families. Breakfast was average like other free hotel hot breakfast but got the job done. Would definitely return

The location makes this a great place to stay. Easy quick walk to the shops, restaurants and a sandy beach . The rooms are a bit compact for suites - the space could have been designed a little better. Everything was working a very clean - seemed new. Nice view from the Rooftop lounge - open for lunch & dinner, but hotel guests can access in the morning as well. (Take your breakfast up there!) Parking was convenient. Though $20, it felt safe - so worth it. The pool was a bit small. The fitness room was clean. Only real disappointment was the breakfast. It looked good but the coffee and juices all tasted watered down (several other guests made the same comments). The food was ok.

Daniel from receptionist well come us and he always check to see to see what we need and make our stay wonderful , gave us directions to restaurants and other fun staff.

Every employee we came into contact with at this property was kind, helpful and professional. The hotel was very conveniently located, clean, comfortable and safe. The rooftop bar was a nice treat.

Really enjoyed the yoga. CLASS! And had a wonderful breakfast. The staff were super friendly.
