TownePlace Suites by Marriott Charlotte LoSo Airport

Seaside at front desk went out of her way to help us with shuttles. Hotel is under construction so hard to judge it. Our room was updated. Scratchy sheets.

The rooms are newly renovated. They are renovating the front of the property but it's all good. Free shuttle going to the airport. Perfect for families.

It was under construction, when booked it did not know or was told under construction. Holes in walls and ceiling. Light in bathroom was broke, sink in bathroom was cracked, and a.c. Unit did not work in room. Once construction is completed I imagine it will be a nice hotel.

Would have been nice to know the facility was under renovation and didn’t have ICE machines available.

We had no clue the hotel was under full renovation and the parking was all jacked up. Whoever is doing the work is not very clean/organized as there was debris all over the place. The rooms weren’t even completely finished. There was electrical outlets with wires exposed and no covers at all. The bathroom had mold painted over in the shower and the towel rack was actual in the shower and never replaced as it was rusted. The tile they put down had several pieces with cracks.

At this time, the hotel is going through a remodel. There is no lobby and the grounds are a bit rough with all the construction equipment and supplies. However our room has a nice refresh, new floors, carpet, furniture and beds. It was very clean and the kitchenette was stocked with cookware, dishes and supplies.Would for sure stay here again on a trip to Charlotte.

Parking was a little confusing hotel construction/renovation had Main entrance and lobby blocked off, but clerk was very friendly and I was pleasantly surprised/impressed by how nice our room was. Would recommend this hotel to others.

The entire property is currently under construction. Most recently, the rooms, are still dusty from the renovation dust. Pool not open. Entire patio currently having the concrete prepped by sanding with an angle grinder and prepped to have new stone laid down. Entire lobby shut down and using an employee lounge as a check-in office. No cart available. No ice available. Marriott should have waited to rent any rooms until all property renovations were done.
