Location was great, walking distance to all of the good restaurants and things in downtown but that is where it ends...

Staff was bad! They were short staffed and the phone number just rings and rings. I waited in the lobby 2 different times for a half hour each without ever seeing anyone who worked there. When we first arrived about 30min before the stated 3:00 check in we wanted to check in early if possible but after waiting for a half hour no one ever showed up so we left to try and come back later. Then at checkout the stated time is 11:00 and when we went to our room around 10:20 the key would no longer work, I walked down to the front desk to try and get someone to help unlock the door so we could get our belongings and check out but I instead was stuck waiting for 30+ min only to finally find a single staff member cleaning rooms. Parking is very very limited, I would say they have about 14 parking spots but 30 rooms so expect to park elsewhere and walk to your room. Coffee maker in the room was broken and so was the hair dryer oh and its incredibly loud in the room at night, constant traffic driving down Route 66 and a train that comes through every 40min or so and it sounds like you are sleeping on the curb. I thought I could look past some of the other bad reviews since the location was so great for our needs but think again! Not worth the hassle and headache especially for how expensive it ended up being. I regret our stay and wish we would have just spent the night elsewhere.

The hotel is in a great location.

The cable wasn't hooked into the wall-mounted TV. We had to get the flashlight, find the right port, squeeze a skinny arm between the TV and the wall to plug in the cable to watch TV. Also, the volume on the TV remote didn't work so we would have to get up to adjust the volume, which is tricky with commercials being so loud. The bathroom was not clean. There were hairs on the sink when we first got into the room. Also, the shower head sprayed water up onto the ceiling over the shower curtain. I don't know if the shower head wasn't installed properly or if it was really old, but it soaked my clothes that I was planning on putting on after the shower. Also, during our stay, we got back to the hotel later at night one night and there wasn't a parking spot for us. The desk clerk had us park in front of the ice machine and Pepsi machine in front of the stairs. It seemed like a very dicey place to park, but we didn't have any other options. Also, we were supposed to have a queen-size bed, but they put us in a room with two double beds. Also, the charged a random fee of $33 which felt like a blatant money grab.

How polite the staff were.

There was pee on the toilet as if someone else used it prior to me coming there.

I liked the location and the staff was nice

there was no more parking at the hotel, so we had to park in a lot behind the building, where we had to walk through the dark to get to the hotel. We are 2 girls and felt unsafe walking to the hotel. The bathroom was disgusting, hair on the floor, old poop on the toilet bowl. it also smelled funny
