Medina Palms

The buffet style breakfast had plenty of variety including fresh fruit, eggs and vegetables. The bacon was the best in Africa! We loved the outdoor pools and the beach. I used the gym most days and Dixon was excellent. The hotel taxi was excellent. The beach bar was our favourite and the staff were amazing there.

Nothing. My son Jack was very disappointed with the porridge. It was too sloppy for words. There were not enough sun beds on the beach. there were only 2 kayaks worth taking out. The others should be got rid of.

Attractive hotel with very spacious suites. We enjoyed the beach bar and the view from there, the beach is stunning! We ate in the garden which is charming although the breakfast service could be slow with everything being brought from the first floor restaurant downstairs. We enjoyed all the meals, lovely fruit selection at breakfast. We especially enjoyed the prawns piri piri. Lots of pools to sit around and enjoy but only one swimming pool with a hand rail? Our suite was at the sea front near to the ‘large adult only pool’ but I could never access it. I am elderly and need something to hold onto when getting in and out of a pool. A handrail there by the steps would be excellent! Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Great room and location. The beach beds were great but it gets windy so you have to retreat to the pool and sometimes most of the beds were taken.

The food was very average and service was so slow. Breakfasts were also average.

Wifi kept cutting off for the first two days.
