The Plaza Condominiums, A Vail Resorts Property

We rented our spot for a long weekend. We had 2 bed/2 bath. It was nice place, convenient walk to slopes. Fortunately this weekend, was the first major powder for the mountain. Loved to shuttle to town. Did not have to move the car. The hike up the mountain to the slopes was tough with ski boots. Fortunately the rental location allowed us to store skiis and boots overnight. YEAH We had view of mountain and fire place. Each bed room had baths and master a Jacuzzi (unfortunately did not work) but that did not dampen the stay.

I rented a 1 bed/1 bath which I believe was Unit 308 in Axtel condos for 3 nights. It was advertised for 4 people so since we were only 2 we assumed we would be fine. Wrong...the sleeper sofa was so thin and cheap that the springs dug into my back and I am a petite person. Not much sleep which was upsetting because we had a 6am hike Crested Butte to Aspen the next day. For $520 I didn't expect fancy, but the beds should be adequate. The queen bed that my friend had was fine. In addition when we got back later in the evening and took a shower, it squealed so loud (old pipes???) the next door renters banged on our door telling us to be quiet. We did call the next day and got a rollaway bed for the last night but shower was not repaired and we also heard someone else's squeaking in that building. When we checked out and I told the clerk, her comment was that we should have upgraded to a 2-bed, unbelievable!! The only good thing was it was close to the transit center so we didn't have to drive to town but that was it. Oh and we had clean towels every day. The unit had a nice patio but it was empty with no furniture on it....It was also slopeside, so just an fyi that you will hear the chair lift grinding starting at 8:30am when they get it ready for the 9-2 chairlift rides to the top. It's been 2 weeks and it still makes me angry even though I filled out their survey with the issues. Very poor followup customer service. O

Nice place, convenient to the mountain and the gondola for hiking. Quick drive into downtown where parking is a bit tricky but lots of very good restaurants. The restaurant across the courtyard was excellent. Nice relaxing weekend

I live in Boulder, CO and have traveled to most ski resorts in Colorado. This is where you want to ski. This year I came with my family (two boys 8 & 11 along with my wife) and separately with friends. With the family there is plentiful greens and blues to skis along with some good entry level black diamond slopes for the kids to try. With my friends, we skied 3 days of fresh snow on double blacks. The rates are reasonable, the mountain is uncrowded, the town is the real deal. Avoid Summit County and come here to ski. Just don't poach my line in the powder.

Had a very nice stay will stay again with this hotel when we have an overnight stay we come to Houston December and July to put my Grandson on a plane for Raleigh NC so he can visit his mother Thanks so much

Nice and enjoyable, friendly. Our server was very helpful and a great information source. We had a great meal, in a beautiful setting. It was raining lightly and we sat under an umbrella and enjoyed the cool of the rain. We had the best restaurant service during our stay in Crested Butted. A nice deck overlooks Elk Ave for people watching while you eat. The food was great, and we will certainly return.Crested Butte is the most beautiful place in Colorado! And that is about it !

I went to Crested Butte in march of this year, and was fortunate enough to stay for 3 whole weeks. The mountain has some great trails, a lot of technical double blacks, and fun blues that you can blast down full speed. There are a few spots on the mountain to grab drinks and food. At the base of the mountain, there are several great options for food and drinks, I liked all the people that I met while I was there, and I met a lot of people on the mountain. I will definitely return to this mountain at some point, hopefully sooner than later.

Clean and roomy. We felt the kitchenette should of accomadated us with more cooking utensils. Rooms were quiet and the bedding was very comfortable.

This property is a great location with great view. However, the condos are quite old and have VERY squeeky floors. They have upstairs and downstairs units. If you stay downstairs and have someone above you the noise is terrible. We spent one night and had to be relocated because of the excessive noise coming from the unit above. Crested Butte is the most beautiful place in Colorado!
