The Plaza Condominiums, A Vail Resorts Property

The condo in Mt. Crested Butte was not as advertised. It is early June, and the summer season has not truly began yet. However, the check in was nearly impossible. The resort area was practically deserted except for a lot of construction work. The directions to the office were non existent, and there was no answer to the phone number provided. My husband walked around for 30 minutes before finally locating the office. Then, the condo was not as advertised. Two queen beds were actually twin beds, and the decor was 70s style. No view, no outside seating, and a outdated bathroom were unacceptable. We love Crested Butte but will not stay with this company again.

Crested Butte Mountain Resort like A MAGICAL SNOW GLOBE YOU CAN LIVE IN FOR A WEEK - every year if your lucky! WE LOVE THIS PLACE... We even got engaged here on the bridge! Not a chain restaurant, hotel or amenity @ CBMR, on the mountain at all or in Crested Butte! What a refreshing and unique thing in the world today - you can't even get that traveling all the way to Europe! The customer service, the ease of reservations, receiving your lift tickets at check in, travel to and up to the mountain or around town, the resort has everything you need and from there the town of Crested Butte has anything else you might want! I can't give this place enough praise; I hope and pray it holds on to it's uniqueness and continues the funkiness with the exceptional service! CBMR is an absolute 10! We have tried many if not most of the restaurants on property and have stayed in the Grand Lodge several times. We have rented supplies from CBMR and purchased gear from them. (*One note to CBMR, I think the Full Moon Party could be improved - one of two things, either include the snow shoe rental for the ticket cost and/or (preferably) improve the food offerings - it could be even more special.) Every interaction with CBMR has been pleasurable. We absolutely treasure our time and experiences here! I truly hope this heartfelt review encourages you to book a trip to CBMR... We have only been during the winter but I hear the summer is equal to or even better! I can't even imagine!

What a great ski area. Slopes for everyone. Lots of food choices. Easy options for ski rental. And lots of snow!!! Easy access to town on free shuttles. Great restaurants but reservations are needed for evening dining in town. Perfect ski school for the tots. And the children's museum was a keeper.

Great location! Close to the ski lifts, Deli and shopping! The staff is friendly and it is pet friendly. We used their Spa more than once. It is excellent!! The Zip lining is a must do also! Definitely going back!

Our family of four (with two teenagers) spent a week in Unit #106 from Dec. 27-Jan. 2. This two bedroom, two bath condo was very nice, fully equipped, with free Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs in every room, reserved indoor parking (a very nice feature) and access to a hot tub and outdoor grill. Ski In - Ski Out A short walk across a small parking lot and a few stairs (100-150 yards) to ski into the West Wall ski lift OR a brief walk down the road to the (free) bus stop. The buses run every 20 minutes and will take you to the base area or to the town of Crested Butte. We opted for ski in - ski out (and each one of us skis at different levels). The Master bedroom (with Queen size bed), and the spacious living room had access to a deck overlooking the valley and mountain resort. The 2nd bedroom had two twin beds. This is a great place to stay, will stay here again (if available).

We came in for the wildflower festival and stayed here. The accommodations were very nice and clean with contemporary features. There is a shuttle service and a bus service that runs regularly making it easy to enjoy the town. We did a spectacular hike with a guide up Ruby Mountain. The wild flowers and scenery were spectacular.

Bar open, papaya juice and a glass of champagne is 7.50 Pancakes are extremely delicious. Burrito excellent. All is delicious just expect to wait. Great outside tables in the shade. Eggs Benedict has several options along with pancakes. We loved it here, when we come back this is the first place we come back to.

Fortunately Vail resorts didn't feel that CB had enough coin collecting potential to acquire and dismember. Crested Butte stands as a beacon of joy for those who love long side country hikes, technical terrain, and a stripped down skiing style. If the thought of driving in hours of traffic on I-70 just to find more lift lines than powder lines doesn't appeal to you, do your soul a favor a stay a long weekend at CB.

We will return to this cozy bed and breakfast again and again. Breakfast was gourmet. The rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds. The location was in the heart of Crested Butte and we walked to everything. I recommend highly.

in 1990 i went her with very little expectation....i have now only missed annual trips here two years since. a great ski town that you can easily fly into, great dining options and the skiing is fabulous also a great summer location, although like most mountain towns, very short summer season a great family resort and a great trip for anyone
