Sandpiper Villas Chobe

I like everything about it, as the location is convenient to a small shopping center that has a bank, Nando's Restaurant, grocery store, and gas station just outside the property. Our villa has a view of the river, and the staff are attentive, courteous, and provided us excellent service.

The rain shower head keeps dripping and needs to be close a certain way. The safe wasn't working, and we didn't have cable TV as it wasn't activated yet.

Great location and well equipped self catering apartment. We booked the Vic Falls and Chobe river cruise through them and it was well organized. Pricy but good

Breakfast was very average with few options and more or less the same for the 3 we had. The dinner menu was very boring so we decided to rather go to Tebe Lodge next door. Sandpiper also offer no alcohol with meals, not that it is an issue but they should mention this on Booking.com

Breakfast was ok. People in kitchen was nice friendly Andrew safari guide was great, very experienced and made my trip there worth while, grateful.

I felt the management lacked follow up with my expectations He was nice guy, but he overcharged everything, I would have spent more money on safari’s if he wasn’t so greedy and overprice everything. I also had to buy my own water to brush teeth and drink in room. I asked numerous times about different services there and never got follow-up response.

The bedroom and bathroom floors were a bit hairy, the safe didn’t work and set off an alarm, and the fishing trip organised was rather dear and sadly with no results not that that’s their fault, but the staff were really lovely to deal with.

The rooms were clean. There is a restaurant on the property - useful for meals when you don’t feel like driving out.

It’s inaccessible for people who are not able to walk and completely wheelchair/scooter unfriendly.
