The location. Room was nice

Reception staff quite upbrupt and answering phones while we were checking in/ out. Restaurant staff busy and distracted. Bar area like a waiting room due to dining tables in location. Food average and over priced. We did contact the hotel to offer feedack (constructively) bit no acknowlegment. Sums up the iverall customer experience.

"The loviest hotel I have stayed in for a long time."

It is a beautiful property in a beautiful setting. The staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel is recently decorated and was very fresh and clean. The room had excellent soft furnishings and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was modern with lovely fittings. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant.

"The hotel was excellent. In a good location with good walking for the dog. Staff outstanding ."

The breakfast was very good. Dinner was excellent so good we ate there most nights. Room was very clean and tidy. The staff were outstanding made us feel very welcome and were very happy to accommodate the dog.

Breakfast choice could have included fresh fruit salad as could the evening dessert menu. The evening main dishes only had one vegetarian option wider choice would have been appreciated.
