We received a gracious welcome and help settling in. Attention to detail from the very friendly staff. The dinner was sublime. In all a wonderful stay and a must for tourists travelling around the area.

Everything about our visit was amazing and totally exceeded our expectations. We arrived early evening and booked a table in the bar area as we had our dog. Every member of staff that we interacted with were really friendly and made an absolute fuss of our dog - thank you. The food - the food! Wow, evening meal we had the scallops, beef tartare to start then venison burger and the stone bass, presentation was on point, but the flavours and the food were on another level - we finished with sorbet / ice cream and the sticky toffee pudding. Breakfast - full Scottish and the salmon and scrambled eggs - again so flavoursome - I would travel up again just for the food!! The room was lovely, bed was really comfortable, dog was more than catered for.
