Fort William Henry Hotel

My family and I stayed here for our weekend getaway. The view of the lake from our room was amazing and we could walk over to the Fort William entrance easily for the haunted ghost tour. The room was clean and the front desk team were very friendly. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The only complaint was that the beds were extremely firm, which made it hard to sleep since we're used to memory foam mattresses. The shower head had a strong pressure, which felt great. I would stay here again.

We had an amazing time at the Fort William Henry hotel! The staff was super friendly and helpful. We ordered room service the first night because we got there a bit late. The lake view was incredible, and the food was delicious. The room service was also very friendly and accommodating. The sunrise's from our room were breathtaking! The only thing that surprised me was the fire pits and how they’re set up. There are limited times and additional charges for using them. But overall, it was a wonderful stay! Excellent location. Atmosphere quaint. Room view was spectacular. Curtains and windows need to be replaced. Curtains also need tie backs as they block part of the view. Value was excellent. Room was very clean and relaxing. Noise level was low. Service was excellent.

Perfect spot on Lake George! The best view, whether from our room, the lobby, the lawn or the restaurant! Food in the restaurant was delicious and we ate both dinner and breakfast there. There are two square tables in the lobby perfect for playing cards or games with friends & family, as well as several cozy spots to chat and a fireplace. Just outside was a beautiful patio with lots of Adirondack-style chairs for gazing at the lake with a cup of coffee or a drink from the bar. Our room was a double- double w/jetted tub(waste of space but ok) lake view and was clean and comfortable! We can’t wait to go back!

I love the FWH Hotel. I love that it's a historic building that is independently owned and run with great service. And the location is amazing. Ask for a lake view room!

Just came back from the most amazing stay at Fort William Henry. The staff at the hotel is so friendly and accomodating. From the warm welcome from Tim at the front desk to Marie that got us onto the firepit, Ronnie our waitress and ANGELO!! He tended to our fire and is so friendly and really an exceptional human being! Bravo to the parents that raised this young man! Perfect lake view location and right in Lake George village but still with a somewhat secluded feel. The room was very clean. Breakfast in the restaurant with the most amazing view started our days off perfect. The hotel was fantastic from start to finish! Will definitely be back!

The staff in the lounge were nice. The rooms need an upgrade. Terrible lighting, beds and walls are dingy looking. Lakeview is nice though. But I won't return to a place that charges for housekeeping ($35). It's ridiculous that having your bed made in a hotel cost extra.

Nice place nice rooms , but tv and internet stunk ! Kept cutting out . But not in bar did it cut out . Just saying beautiful place , great location , but bad technology’

1/2 the property is an overpriced motel which you are not informed of. Room was clean & decent but heat barely worked. Bathroom floor ascold as a skating rink. Next time i find another place to stay
