Rio Perlas Thermal Resort & Spa

This hotel has many perks to offer, a very nice hot spring swimming pool. Very comfy rooms and in a pristine and peaceful area. If you're up for a quiet and peaceful place that would bring you to boost of health. This is the place for you.

My stay was very relaxing and comfortable. The hot springs and the pool is worth the trip. Nice for a romantic getaway! Ms. Carvajal and the rest of the staff were very much friendly and very accommodating

The restaurant was super nice and easy. The thermal pool was loved by the kids and myself. The bar at the pool was not open so the kids could not get snacks or drinks. The staff were very friendly.

Excellent Hotel, good food, great facilities, friendly and attentitive staff.

Very disapointing. Poor service, nobody appologized for not having the minimum conditions for guest - hot water in shower and at the morning no water at all. We had to use our miniral water to wash ourselves. Be aware of this hotel !!!

It was nice, although we booked a wooden cabin (single room, no people next to us), when we got to the hotel they gave us a regular room in a concrete building next to another room. When we asked what happened to the cabin, they told us they couldn't move us there because the TV was broken. A bit of a bummer since the view seemed nicer from the cabin. Anyway, the hotel was alright. Food is very expensive at the restaurant. Couldn't fish at the small ponds they have for that purpose.

The reception staff is has been changed several times, making very unsatisfactory to do business efficiently.

I booked a room with a king size bed, but they gave me a double queen room. Except for this, I liked every thing else.

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Rio Perlas. My only complaint was the price for taxi service from the hotel to any local destinations. It would be nice if the Hotel offered a shuttle service to local towns such as Orozi or cartago center.
