Reef Club Resort

There was nothing to like about reef club.

This place was absolutely disgusting, I don't know how it's called a resort. Low grade backpackers more like it. The whole place is filthy and stank of mould let alone how dirty our room was. We booked for 5 nights we stayed 1 night and got out of there. I wished I had of read all the reviews before booking. It was putrid. My advice is stay well away!!

Most rooms were filled with back packers. Who took over the pool during the day, bbq area until 2am every night, 30+ backpackers. Constant noise, not family or couple friendly. No response from management. Heavy weed being smoked and in appropriate behaviour. Rooms were extremely dirty, cockroaches, spiders, cobwebs, mould, spilled drinks, balcony never cleaned,no cleanliness. Pool was not clean. No car parking due to back packer push bikes. Extremely disappointing and should never be sold to family’s, couples.

Putrid and disgusting is an understatement. I've never stayed somewhere so terrible, it absolutely stank of mould and had clearly never been properly cleaned. We only stayed one night and got accommodation elsewhere. Pictures online are deceiving. Please read all the reviews before booking here.

This place is a dump. It was unclean inside the unit and in the corridors, the hot water was poor if you got any, the pool is dirty, spa is freezing cold, the resident manager is one of the rudest people I have come across, the units are tiny, noise carries through the whole complex, the bbq's are filthy, the coin-operated laundry is a rip off, the washing machines are dirty, the list goes on. In a word - NO!

The friendly staff, the distribution of the apartment with two bedrooms, close to the Main Street in Port Douglas.

Cleaning of the apartment needs to be improved. There were spiderwebs, it was dusty. The mattress was uncomfortable.

Reef Club Resort was fantastic. We couldn't have been happier. Staff is more than helpful, with a great location, only a 15-minute walk from the main shopping strip. Everything was lovely and clean, couldn't fault anything. We will definitely come back.

Fantastic location for a stay in Port Douglas. Very Short walk to 4 mile beach . Can walk into town from here too if wanted to .Free parking for our hire car.. everything you need for a comfortable stay .

Perhaps could be more modern stying but honestly had everything we needed so not a big deal
