Economy Inn Monterey

Perfectly fine for the rate that I paid. Room was quiet and adequate.

The lights over the beds didnt work. No shower curtain. Only 2 towels for 4 ppl, i requested more and blankets never recoeved themm

This property should not be allowed to be in business. The rooms are dirty: door and door jab riddled with dirt. Inside of door lock had no cover with wires hanging out. The bathroom shower has a vise grips as the handle, greasy. The bathroom sink faucet does not have a handle. I asked for a different room. The next room was no better. There was loud tv and music, passed 1am. I had a reservation for 3 nights. In the morning I checked out due to the dirty and loud hotel. The manager was rude and made me pay for the 3 nights. He is not the type of person I feel safe arguing with, I just wanted to get far away from this place as fast as possible. As we are in a COVID pandemic, I do not understand how this hotel is allow to be open. Shame on Expedia for having this hotel on their website.

The place is dirty and noisy the person who check me in is rude not really a friendly place to go it was a devastating experience I won’t recommend this place at all

Ended up leaving because they wanted to accuse me of things that did not happen and that they failed to do information wise upon arrival.the owner is a grouchy old lady who lets her son do whatever what whatever he sees fit very unclean mold on water walls shower broken facilities definitely won't be visiting again and once you get there you will know why even at the cheap price was not worth it

The most disgusting Hotel I've ever stayed in there was dirty hair everywhere and there was hair in the shower and in the bathroom floor the towels are still dirty and the heater didn't work so it was freezing cold in the room

Television and mini fridge did not work, though they replaced them with ones that did work. Hair in the tub was gross, as were stained linens and bed cover. Carpet was filthy, and there was a lingering smell of tobacco smoke in my “smoke-frēē” room.

When I went to check in at about 9pm on Friday, no one was available to check me in. The place looked dirty. People appeared to be living there. The gentleman who eventually agreed to check me in was sleeping in a room next to the office. I decided not to check in and asked him to cancel my remaining days. I also asked him for a refund. He would do neither. I left and stayed at a different hotel

ehh it’s okay for a 1-2 night stay. If you can avoid it, try to!
