Economy Inn Monterey

Accessible to salinas and monterey area, but some issues inside room like clogged bath tub, with a refrigerator inside but non-functioning. Attending staff are warm-friendly though.

This place is terrible ,, i think its place for booking an escort ,, Fridge and tv didnt working Bathroom drain clogged We ended up went to another place to stay , Definitely not recommended 👎

Bed was comfortable and all amenities were in working order. Cleanliness could have been better. There were weird stains on the walls that needed to be washed. The staff was very friendly. Would stay again.

Had good heater. No hot water.dude at front desk was rude , said i didnt pay, but gave me room and made me call orbitz to have you guys confirm. Wierd

This place was disgusting, a real slum. This type of property shouldn't even be on the site, or you should be warned to have all your shots up to date. This is the second location I found on Expedia that I was literally scared to stay at. If it was more than just a place to sleep for the night I would have canceled and demanded a refund.

It is a cheap safe stay. Nothing more nothing less. If you are a clean freak advoid.

Took so long to check-in. Attendant was sleeping and a lady came to try to check us in but didn't know how and we had to wait for her to wake him up. Room was ok. Cheap so we didn't expect it to be fancy.

So the property is being remodeled and the smell of paint burned my eyes and made me choke. The toilet seat was broken and coming off. There was no closet area for hanging clothes. There were wholes in blankets and pillow cases. Had to ask for a garbage can. No screen on the window that we had to leave open due to the paint smell. The drapes were falling off the window. The lampshades had stuff splattered on them.

The room did not look anything like the photographs, the beds were very uncomfortable, old bedding with holes, headboard was a painted piece of wood that were screwed to the wall. Claims free HBO were false, very few channels and power and volume had to be done on the TV not remote, it would not be so bad if the buttons were not covered in thick sticky guck. Chair in the room was filthy. We felt like if we were staying in a hotel in a third world country

That was about as long as I would have tolerated being there. They were also doing construction work in some of the rooms.
