Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort Phuket

I stayed 4 nights at wyndham it was perfect place to stay. All locations nearby, easy to go whereever you eant to go.

As others have said, the rooms need updating with attention to details. After reading reviews and upon arrival, we asked if we could have an updated suite based on manager’s comments of some rooms have been updated. I feel like the ladies at the front desk understood our request, but didn’t offer a response. The grout around the sinks and toilet is black in places and poorly applied. The tables have stains and look dirty. We also had large ants and other bugs in our two-bedroom suite. We chose to not have our rooms made-up since we were only here for 3-nights. We tried using the WhatsApp messaging service multiple times. COMPLETELY NON RESPONSIVE. I even google translated the messages in Thai. So I walked to lobby to put in request and/or called house keeping. Every request took over an hour. We are a family of 5, but only dishes for 4. Asked for more coffee, bath and beach towels, water and they would only give 2-3 items each. Had to ask for more. One request for toilet paper never came after waiting an hour. We left for our day tour and then requested it again when we got back. Again a long wait. Since this is a suite with a kitchenette, it should have the expected basics such as the cupboards being stocked with dishes and utensils minimally for 4 (but add more when there are more guests = details). There should be a microwave. There should be dish towels and dish soap to wash dishes, if we chose. There should be hot water at the kitchen sink and powder room. The powder room should have hand towels and hand soap. Please get rid of shag-type rugs (seemed dirty/unvacuumed) and switch to low pile rugs. Fix the large gap under the doors to discourage bugs and lizards from entering. When I inquired about a shuttle into town, I was told there wasn’t one. We were also told it wasn’t safe to walk into town and should take a taxi. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend. The grounds are beautiful, but the rooms and service are disappointing.

This hotel the service was great but the room is wasn't clean 😕. By the first night of the first day I was feel very disappointed cause they were very smelled and thirty 😢 and the tower was too old 😢 and they also had a bugs 🐛 bed 😢🙄

The team and room were lovely. Overall the resort needs a bit of maintenance to the common areas and the spas don’t have any heat functions so are really cold making them unusable for most of our stay. I think the price is fair reflecting the condition and we still had a pleasant stay. Even though it’s located on the outskirts of Patong, we had no issues with transport.

Terrible service no help at all. Phones were not working. Internet not working. Red ants everywhere in the room and the air cond was not working.

I booked a deluxe king room but I was assigned a room with 2 beds, no fridge, no drinking water, and no hand soap in the bathroom. The bathroom light was also blinking. Overall disappointing for a 5 star resort.

At the top of a hill on a very busy road and no free way to go anywhere not even walk resort grounds are in a horrible condition no privacy in the room either also always trying to sell you the timeshares not a nice hotel avoid

This is literally the one of the worst properties I’ve ever stayed at my life. I did a 10 day trip in Thailand and this was the last hotel we were supposed to stay at and it was completely trifling. There was black mode all over the bathroom the bathtub had mold in it. There was stains all over the bathroom in the kitchen in the living room area. There was rust in the kitchen. There was rust in the bedroom. There was rust on the chairs on the countertops The flowers they had in my room were moldy and dying and wilted. The drawers have molded in it. The glass was completely dirty with fingerprints. The showerhead had rust and dirt and mildew all over the top and bottom. The hotel had no hot water. The slippers were used dirty. And be up look like they just got them out of a thrift store the towels stunk like mildew and the staff was completely unhelpful. One of the ladies told me that just because the bathroom is dirty doesn’t mean the bathroom is dirty that I shouldn’t have any problem going to sleep? They refuse to move my room or give me a refund when I did not want to stay in unsafe unsanitary room that they provided me I have some health problems and the fact that they have black mold in the bathroom is completely outrageous. When I complain about it they all just laughed in my face and did nothing about it. They told me I had to sleep there until the morning time in order for me to get anything done

The property did not meet the standards they put online. The first night we saw a cockroach in bathroom, there was geckos on the walls. The room service staff seemed to be rushing us to clean the rooms. The wifi internet was slow and getting hold of some house keeping was hard. The food was good though, the pool was well maintained and had beautiful views.

The rooms are very badly maintained. While the exterior of the property is nice, the rooms are not worth it for the price they charge. The jaccuzi in the room was also very dirty and not well maintained. The bathroom had rust stains where the dustbin had been kept
