Clean and good location

No elevator so taking luggage up stairs was not easy.

The outside and common areas of the hotel are beautiful. The reception staff provided exceptionally friendly service.

I struggled with the lighting in the room; it was consistently dark, even with natural light and all lamps in use. The bathroom lighting is especially poor, as the fixtures create a glare that makes it difficult to see in the mirror. The breakfast selection was great, and I really appreciated the variety of dairy and non-dairy coffee creamer options. However, I did run into a food safety concern: I used the almond milk, and it curdled immediately in my coffee. When I brought this to the attention of the breakfast staff, she insisted it was fine because it was within the 'best by' date. Unfortunately, the issue seemed to be that all the creamers were sitting in a bin at room temperature with no ice to keep them properly chilled.
