Elk Country Inn

The location was perfect - walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The breakfast was very nice with cereals, eggs, pancakes, etc. The staff were super friendly and gave us restaurant recommendations as well as activity ideas. The lobby decor as well as the outside entrance looked like a 5 star hotel.

We were very happy with everything.

Very loud. You can’t sleep well, because of the noises.

An elevator would have been helpful

Stayed in cabin section. For the $550 a night price, these guys can do A LOT better. Mold on the shower caulking, plumbing from shower head loose from wall, tiny toilet, horrible sloped mattress felt like I was going to fall off bed. Website indicates daily room service, however we found out later you had to request it, otherwise it was every other day. Very outdated and in need of attention.
