I had never been to Charleston, so I did a lot of research before deciding on Fulton Lane. I wanted to stay in the French Quarter area based on the attractions nearby and some discussions with a friend who had been before. Fulton Lane seemed to fit the bill. From the website, the photos of the rooms were attractive, the pricing was very competitive, and the free breakfast delivered to my room was a definite plus. We were not disappointed. The front desk folks were always friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delivered each day on time, and was delicious. Our room was spacious and clean. My wife and I like to walk, so it wasn't a big deal for us to walk to all the places we wanted to go; the Fort Sumter visitor center, Fleet Landing and Poogan's Porch restaurants, Palmetto Carriage Rides, Charleston City Market, the Battery, and Waterfront Park with the Pineapple Fountain. It was a short, three night stay, and we packed a lot into it. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay at Fulton Lane Inn. My wife mentioned we were celebrating our twentieth. Our first night, we found a bottle of sparkly in the room. It was a lovely welcoming gesture. Therra the concierge was very helpful in giving us advice on what to see, and making reservations at any place we wanted. They also bring breakfast to your room. There is complimentary wine and cheese in the early evening at their sister property next door. The room had high ceilings and a comfortable bed. The shades didn’t keep all the light out so if you want to sleep late, bring a sleep mask. There was some noise from trucks in the mornings. It’s in a great location on King Street. Everywhere we wanted to go was in walking distance.

Spectacular location - great breakfast and great value. We will be back when we come back to Charleston. Nothing like breakfast in bed!
