Slave Lake Inn & Conference Centre

Stayed one Friday night. The property was not busy. We checked in around 3pm. The room we were given was bad and tending to awful. Why we were awarded this room I will never know - unless all the rooms are this bad. I have stayed here many in times in the past. It was much better then. Now it looks old and tired. The cement wall construction in the absence of furniture made our room look like a prison. Our bathroom was small and the six inch long shelf was severely inadequate. The bathroom fan was so loud I couldn’t use it. We used the bathroom in the dark. We had to ask for luggage racks. The bed was fine and the WiFi worked well. The talking smokers outside out window at 05:30h were annoying. We were lead to believe that all valuables should be removed from our car. Annoying. I can’t recommend.

The breakfast was disgusting. The rooms were not queen beds as described. The bathroom was dirty upon check in. The staff were very kind and accommodating but I would not be staying again

Big room, clean and comfortable. Microwave and fridge in the room.

Definitely needs Reno’s to all rooms. If they advertised what the room looked like I would have stayed down the street.

Hotel was not clean not worth what I spent for one night stay

I have stayed here a few times and each time my stay gets better. I love that the restaurant is open 24/7 for I am a night owl. Stayed in one of the renovated rooms and I was very happy. The prices are great for all their ammenties. Staff go out of their way to help.

We have stayed in two different hotels in Slave Lake and the Holiday Inn Express is our favourite.

Stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. Very nicely done. Beds are great and the onsite restaurant is open 24 hours.

Mouldy tile, rusted out sinks, white tub stained brown , circulating air vents covered in mild and moth balls. Now I know why there’re parking lot is empty.. only reason I’m here, is because my company tried to save some cash. Checked in at 10pm, checkout asap!! Old, dirty, and run down.

It was totally run down. The towels were nice and white
