The good news - fantastic staff and excellent location and views. The bad news - the property itself (particularly the rooms) was definitely not 5-star level. My room looked like it hadn't had a major refresh in decades and the soundproofing between my room and the hallway and adjacent room was poor.

Everything about the Rittenhouse is five star. Great staff, beautiful decor, huge room, giant soaker tub, best location in Philly. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra night. Definitely the best hotel I have been to in Philly.
