The location is far away from the main south goa beaches! I have been to the Lalit 15 years ago for the first time. The rooms are still huge and old Portuguese charm. however it needs some repairs, upgrades and TLC. If you're stayin in the main building it takes around 10-15 mins to walk in the sun to the beach - so ask for a beach buggy. They should just upgrage people honestly to make our lives easier. The BEACH shack is WAYYY tooo dark even in the day, they need better lighting because it doesnt make you want to stay and order food. The food is good but really over priced for south goa.

Dark beach shack. Distance walking from the room to the beach can cause a sun stroke. Toys in the pool should be free, 500 rupees to shoot archery makes no sense. Rooms need better lighting also, I was working till 2am and it felt dimely lit.
