We were served in Canacona by Rakesh. Awesome service , good food. We ordered pure veg.. Butter Panner Biryani and red sauce Pasta. Rakesh was very gentle in handling our request and we were with 2 year old kid. He served with patience. Served us papad and salad also. Very good service .. thank you

We had a 1 night stay prior to a further 4 night stay booked for a few days later . Wish we had never been ! Or booked ! We booked the lalit for a 5 star as rated experience with all the comforts expected & where I could feel comfortable, safe and private due to a recent experience The hotel is dirty , tired and soulless The breakfast was terrible with little healthy choices . Our room was dated , cold and bathroom dirty and tatty The hotel was busy and didn't contribute to me feeling relaxed The pool area dirty & poorly maintained We addressed our feelings with the manager and asked to cancel our upcoming 4 night stay with no penalty costs . Despite our findings from our 1 night stay and further extenuating circumstances they offered no understanding or flexibility .

8 of us (four couples) have been to Goa in the month of March 2026. We stayed at the hotel the Lalit Golf and Spa Resort. The hotel is conveniently located and is a very good property. Unfortunately we found the service at the hotel as too bad. The service at the breakfast time in the restaurant was pathetic. The buffet spread was very limited and the refills were not timely. Even the were not avail the excuse given by the staff that if people change plates that often what can we do. It appears that the staff does not do any statistical analysis of the breakfast service as to the number of who take breakfast and the number of plates required. In the main dining the service for lunch and dinner was equally poor. The food portions were very and there was no value for money. The rooms are spacious and but the service is again very poor. Asking for small amenities drinking water may take up to half an hour. Apparently the staff is untrained. The length is doing an unethical business. Despite a ruling to the contrary by the Honorable Supreme Court of India the hotel continues to 10% service charge. I'm enclosing a photograph of the bill for reference. Overall it was a poor experience.

The hotel in general is dirty , tired and poorly maintained Our bathroom was very shoddy, tiles damaged and bodged with grout The air conditioning kept running even when we switched it off so room was very cold. Terrible breakfast even the other guest had complained Coffee was undrinkable in the restaurant We requested a coffee at the pool bar but were told that it was not possible but alcohol and soft drinks were being offered The general pool area was dirty with bird excrement . The Pool had sand in the bottom , tiles were broken and missing and a very dirty scum at water level . We Had booked 5 nights overall But left the next day despite raising our concerns with the management we were refused any refund. Saying that the golf course looked quite good. Don’t be fooled by the excellent rating Only go there and play golf and stay somewhere else !
