Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Roswell

It was a nice facility and well located.

I just wish I had been in formed that there was room service. Since we were there 2 nights I needed to get towels and coffee at night for the second day.

The front desk lady was not the friendlist or inviting person. The 2nd floor had this horrible mildew smell. The breakfast was not edible.

We arrived to check in after we went to the UFO Museum when we arrived in Roswell. Loved the laundry which we used right away. The dryers leave your laundry crisp and I was happy to see two of each. The $12 parking is excessive as it’s a large parking area no where near town. Loved that there was a good restaurant next door so we didn’t have to drive. As we had to leave early we did find an Albertsons near for lunch items. Beds were comfortable, air worked well. Breakfast was good for us but we just wanted the basics. Coffee was good. Overall a good experience.

Plumbing pipes need a good clean out. There were smells from the drains. Overall, dingy.

Our $350 a night “hotel” was reminiscent of your basic run of the mill Motel 6 in the 80’s, minus the vibrating bed. The hot tub had something growing in it and the pool area was formally the habitat for the creature in the black lagoon. The location was decent, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. All things you come to expect from any low rated motel; when you’re staying at a Marriott there is a bit higher of an expectation. Best advice I can give for this hotel, is go in with low expectations, and when you think they’re low enough, dig a little deeper.
