Residence Inn Indianapolis Northwest

Hotel was meh, we stayed for 6 nights and the pool was down the whole time. (4th of July weekend, so disappointing) We were told it just broke and they were waiting for a part. When we arrived in the room at a quick glance it appeared clean but after looking throughly I’m not 100% sure the room was cleaned from the last guests. The TV in the bedroom would not work correctly, after the 3rd day of making requests for maintenance to fix it, someone finally came. The dishwasher was still wet full of dishes, food was still burnt on the pans, the room was not restocked with dishwasher tablets or tissues. The Dished in the cabinet still had food remnants and stains even though they were “clean”. The refrigerator made a terrible noise from time to time, the ice maker when turned on only sometimes made ice. I would request 3 towels on the app, but would only be given 2. I also requested pillows and blankets for my daughter(sofa bed), which I did not receive until going back again to the front desk. After walking back to the front desk it was apparent that asking for towels or anything was an inconvenience for them, they would give you only 1 at a time even when I stated 3 people were in my room. The people working the front desk were a hit or miss, some were helpful, others were frustrating. My husband started the dish washer by using regular soap and accidentally flooded the room. We called the front and explained everything, after waiting over an hour and walking to the front desk again the gentleman was so distracted it was like he forgot I called. After the maintenance guy giving us the correct soap tablets he did not return with a mop or anything to help clean up. We ended up using the remaining towels to clean it up and again needed towels to shower. The washing machines had a funny oder, dryers worked fine. Most of the nights we were there, there was a large gathering in the lobby until after midnight, glad everyone was having fun, but heard them clear as day through our door located on the other side of the hotel. Hotel was nice location and short drives to Walmart and IMS.

Tammy, the GM, is a professional, understands the importance of customer service, and appreciates her clientele. In the end, she gets it. You should be well taken care of at her property. Thank you for your help.

Great pet friendly location. Very nice walking/biking trails adjacent to property. Room was clean and comfortable. Check in staff was excellent.

The room was fine. The grass was eight inches tall and looked uninviting.

No wake up calls, no breakfast, no room make up untill after 6 nights. Rooms redone a year ago and need repairs already. Some of the front desk people could care less about problems. Stay at another place if possible.

Great service very clean. Just wish there was a pool or hot tub. They had it shut for covid.

There was some brown stuff on a light switch. It looked like feces. I went to the front desk no housekeeping available. The front desk attendant went to her her car and got some Clorox wipes for me to clean it. It did not come off. I think it was hair dye but it still look gross. Also, We ended up with ants in our room.

The room was very nice and clean. Had a full kitchen. The staff was so kind. Breakfast was free and good. A lot of choices.
