Excellent hosts and excellent accommodation, all in a great location, definitely made up for the cold and wet marathon run. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Philly.

While the bathroom was pleasing, i would have preferred one attached to my room. Absolutely great otherwise

Newly renovated stylish bed and breakfast! A couple of young innkeepers purchased this property and have transformed it into a warm, inviting, trendy place to stay. They have decorated with vibrant colors and adorned the interior with interesting pieces which made us appreciate the richness of the past. Yet -they have quietly ensured all the comforts of our present times. We stayed in the Continental Suite which is perfect for a family of 4, a group of friends traveling together, or a couple who may prefer a bit of luxury and extra space. This top floor Suite offers two bedrooms with adjoining bath ( including a marvelous jacuzzi as well as shower) and a sitting room with TV. An honor bar is provided with a well appointed selection of wines and beers along with coffee and other beverages. Breakfast is delightful. Offerings included pumpkin spice pancakes with freshly whipped maple cream and waffles with strawberry sauce with crisp bacon. A constantly refilled basket of thoughtful healthy snacks was set by the beverage bar in the dining room and an additional offering of cold cider and homemade mini baked goodies always available. Excellent attention to detail and comfort! Excellent value. Quiet, private safe haven in the heart of Philadelphia. Enjoy!

We had a delightful stay at Cornerstone where my friend and I shared the two bedroom suite. We found the beds to be very comfortable; the pillows and sheets are luxurious. Breakfast was excellent with a fresh made goat cheese and egg scramble plus toast with a delicious pepper jam, Also available were melon, bread, rolls, muffins and other accompaniments. The house is rich with Victorian detail, clean and tidy and fun to look at. A charming young couple are the hosts, who do a marvelous job with everything. A comfortable, convenient B&B near the art museum area, , Drexel and U of P, the Schuylkill River and Fairmount Park. we'll be back.

The location, service, cleanliness, and friendliness all were excellent.

Away from the noise of downtown Philly, walking distance to many sights.

This is a very authentic bed and breakfast. The home dates back to the 1800's. Very quaint. All the rooms have their own bathroom except one but the bath is right around the corner and it is all yours. It is not shared. Breakfast was delicious the next day. When you arrive they have a nice lemonade and homemade chocolate chip cookie. Wine and beer are available for 'happy hour' prices. There is a large wrap around porch you can sit and watch the people of Philadelphia just stroll by. The location is in the heart of U Penn and Drexal. Lots of restaurants and things to do. I had difficultly with the room TV but the owner was very helpful.
