Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast

Exceeded all expectations. Home away from home Owners made us feel wanted and welcome.Very professional operation. Eric could be world class chef, honestly.These owners are very proud of their B&B and it shows. Dont hesitate when looking for place to stay in this area.

Nestled into a lovely neighbor community is this GEM. While being centrally located to all the city sites and college it is still far enough removed to provide a relaxing sanctuary. The proprietors provided a clean, comfortable, and beautiful room; detailed home and neighbor history; and excellent restaurant recommendations. Daily they provided wonderful homemade breakfasts. Additionally; chilled lemonade, iced tea, water, and snacks were left out to be enjoyed on will. This was a welcoming touch to balance the summer heat. Public transportation was readily available and reliable. Top-notch friendly service.

We were fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at Cornerstone B&B for a weekend birthday celebration and were treated like royalty! Eric and Jill were so friendly and helpful in making the weekend so nice, making us feel like we were right at home. Great suggestions for nearby activities, making reservations for local attractions and providing gracious hospitality that is rarely seen in todays world. The Victorian style home is beautiful and well maintained. The gourmet breakfast was wonderful and we can't wait to visit again! We both thank you for making the weekend so special.

Hosts were very helpful, extremely nice, and breakfast was very good. Excellent location for visiting university.

Very pleasant welcome, and comfortable room, however parking locally was difficult, and the extra charge levied to park on the driveway seemed mean. Room lovely, but no wardrobe or hanging space for clothes. Breakfast was lovely.

Wonderful hosts! The only drawback was the lack of adequate on-street parking. If you are using public transportation (taxi), this is a very nice place to stay in the Drexel/UPenn area. Parking was the only reason that I didn't give Cornerstone B&B a score of 5. Eric and Jill will make you feel most welcone!

Property is extremely clean and well maintained. Owners are very focused on making each guest experience excellent.

This is a WONDERFUL place to stay! When we arrived, the owners had upgraded us to a suite. We had the entire third floor to ourselves (two bedrooms, private bath, and sitting room). The mattress was new and extremely comfortable, and the entire place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, both on the weekend and during the week. The owners could not have been kinder or more accommodating. My only word of caution is to add that if you have mobility issues, ask for a room on the first floor, as there is no elevator. However, the owners are more than happy to take your luggage upstairs if you wish. If we come to Philadelphia again, we will definitely stay at Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast!
