Had a wonderful stay at the B&B for 5 nights. The house is incredible dating back from 1776 with impeccable interior and charm (check out the wallpapered ceiling in the dining room!). My room was extremely comfortable with a nice bed and cozy layout. It has everything you need: comfort, peace, excellent Wifi and a pleasant neighbourhood, close to the universities and also some really cool restaurants and shops. Eric and Jill are the most hospitable and friendly hosts - on arrival, I had homemade cookies prepared for me up in my room with plenty of refreshments available throughout the day! The highlight, however, is the catered breakfast each morning. Since I follow a vegan diet, Eric prepared a different vegan dish each dish. There's something special about a place that goes above and beyond to provide a memorable experience and one, you would happily return for. Eric and Jill have done a wonderful job with the place, are always willing to help and I highly recommend staying here when you are in Philly!

This was the best place I've stayed in as long as I can remember. The owners were extremely welcoming and made me feel like I belonged in the house. They were kind enough to provide me a to-go breakfast even earlier than their scheduled breakfast because I had to leave early in the morning. The property itself is beautiful inside and out. They provided, among other things, a bathrobe and a chocolate chip cookie, and it was things such as this that made my stay that much better. I will absolutely return here if I find myself back in the area.

This could possibly be the best place I have ever stayed at! It did not have the most up to date technology in the room but the service and amenities made up for it big time! The owners were great! They made breakfast ever morning, asking if anyone had dietary restrictions so that everyone could enjoy the food. They also had drinks and snacks out all day for their guests to enjoys, in addition they had a Keurig and hot water dispenser for tea or coffee. They had a mini fridge on the second story for guests to use. When we got there we had fresh baked cookies in our room. The only down side to the stat was the pillows; they had 2 down pillows and 2 extra firm pillows. The down pillows went flat and had no support; and the extra firm pillows didn't give at all and your neck would then be at an awkward angle. Pillows aside I loved staying here and would stay here again, and recommend staying here to all of my friends!

这是一个很老的house，现在是家庭宾馆。条件吗努力做到最好了！是在街的拐角，两面临马路，睡觉不好的人可能会感觉太嘈杂。卫生间需要走出自己的房间，虽然也是单独使用，但还是感觉不方便。花10刀可以简单早餐。喜欢热闹和家庭氛围的人可以考虑，还可以和不同的游客一起海阔天空。相比我们喜欢比较安静、私密一点的酒店。

When we arrived Saturday evening, the owners were not there, out of town if I recall correctly, but we were greeted by their parents/in-laws, and they were just as friendly and accommodating as the owners when we met them for breakfast Sunday morning. We stayed in the Franklin Room on the second floor, and although our bathroom was a few steps down the hall, it was assigned exclusively to our room, meaning we did not have to share it with others. This may be an issue for some, but I did not find it to detract from the stay at all. I feel it actually added to the charm of the place, as it brought back memories of staying at my grandmother's home as a child. Eating the wonderfully made breakfast of homemade waffles and strawberries Sunday morning, around a large table in the dining room with some of the other guests, also added to the "family" atmosphere of the home. It's a beautiful, cozy B&B all around, both inside and out, ,and definitely somewhere I will book again when staying in the area.

Like: hospitality of the owner, cooking is good Unique: owner knows what food is good around.

Exceptional service, clean beautiful room, fantastic breakfast, and snacks. Quiet safe area close to all attractions, felt like being home but the home I’ve always wanted to have. A must stay!
