Park Royal Beach Huatulco

La ubicación es perfecta, la movilidad dentro del hotel es buena y sin complicaciones. La habitación es super cómoda, amplia y muy tranquila, cuenta con todas las comodidades. La vista es muy linda desde todas las partes del hotel (habitaciones, piscinas, playa). La atención del personal es excelente.

Lo que podría mejorar es la comida ya casi todo estaba muy salado y no hay gran variedad en el menú del buffet. También podría mejorar la organización de los restaurantes, ya que no abren todos los días y aun abiertos no te dejan entrar aun que haya lugares.

This is not What I expected

The rooms are great. Staff are friendly. Food is ok. Lots of stairs but that was fine by us. Before the checkout experience we definitely would have been back (probably annually) however, that changed. We checked out at noon and they cut off the wristbands. At that point, we had no access to any services. Not even a cup of coffee. At other all inclusive we have been to - you check out of your room, they put your bags in the secure bellman room and you continue to have access to the resort until your shuttle to take you to the airport. It was a long 4 hour wait for a shuttle. Too bad. Will definitely be back to Huatulco but this resort is off the table.

Our stay at Park Royal Beach Huatulco was a pretty mixed experience. The biggest positive was the staff. Everyone we dealt with was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they really do try their best to make guests feel welcome. That said, there are some major drawbacks. The resort is built on a hillside, and getting between buildings involves long and sometimes steep walks. If you have mobility issues, this resort will likely be difficult to navigate. Another inconvenience is that the main buffet isn’t located on the same area as many of the rooms. You either have to take about a 10-minute walk or wait for the shuttle, which can be a hassle when you’re just trying to grab a meal. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the food. The buffet was mediocre at best — often cold and fairly bland. Many dishes tended to taste very similar, so despite the number of options there wasn’t much real variety. The Italian restaurant was particularly underwhelming, with cold food and most dishes covered in the same red sauce. The meal schedule didn’t help either. Lunch at the buffet doesn’t start until 1:30 PM, and dinner doesn’t begin until 7:00 PM, meaning you often end up waiting quite a while for food that isn’t particularly good. In the end, while the staff were excellent, the food and layout of the resort would make it hard for me to return. It would have to be an exceptionally good deal, and even then I’d plan on eating at restaurants in Huatulco and paying out of pocket rather than relying on the resort dining.

Las instalaciones del hotel muy bonitas, nuestra habitación muy limpia, el equipo de entrenamiento de la noche, la recepcionista que nos atendió y el bellboy muy amables

Las dos ocasiones que fuimos a restaurantes el servicio de los meseros fue descortés, una chica nos atendió muy obligada, las únicas chicas amables eran las hostess, una chica del toallero de la tarde muy grosera no quiso darnos una toalla ni porque llevábamos la tarjeta, nos decía que si ya habíamos cambiado una vez en club de playa siempre tenía que ser ahí pero de una forma fea a pesar de que le explicamos que eso no nos habían dicho desde el inicio y que ya era noche y no necesitabamos ir al club de playa

Very clean resort. Million dollar views from the room decks. Helpful an friendly staff. Access to surrounding small cities and resorts was easy by walking or cabs. Weather is outstanding and stable. If you are needing top shelf liquor not the best. Coffee and water provided in rooms only. Food at times was great but not exceptional. Not right on the beach but access is easy by walk or shuttle, and there is a large restaurant with bar and snacks right off the beach. There are pools at the main resort as well as one next to the beach. Ocean is nice for swimming and snorkeling.
